At Home Among Us

This started at Spring's MV home. No agenda, women just there for each other. The kind of afternoon nobody wanted to end.

The idea is to be intentional about getting together. A little order to the fun. And by rotating through six homes, the hosting gets shared and so does the love.

At Home Among Us grows that one afternoon into six evenings across three weeks this August on Martha's Vineyard. Six homes, six hosts, one night each, 5 to 7pm. Every host chooses the conversation she wants to hold, something that matters to Black women right now, the kind of thing you'd talk about in your own living room. Or way back when, on our front porches.

Women come to connect. They stay to talk honestly. By the end of the three weeks, they've built something that lasts past the summer. Connections, conversations, community.

This is a living room, not a stage. A real conversation, not a panel. Women being honest with each other over a glass of something. In a moment like this one, that's not a small thing. It might be the whole thing.

You said yes to hosting. Fill in what you know; anything still open, just say so and we'll follow up.

Choose your date, or let us know if you're flexible.

The one thing you want women to walk away having talked about honestly. A phrase, a question, a feeling — something that matters to you right now. Don't overthink it; we'll shape it together.

Somewhere between 15 and 35 is where most hosts land, but it's your home and your call.

Your vision for the night, questions you have, anything about your space.

You're in.

Thank you for hosting. We'll be in touch soon to build out your evening together.
